DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong Laravel background to join our growing tech team. This role isn’t your typical DevOps job — it blends infrastructure management, application awareness, and investigative problem-solving.

You’ll be the bridge between the application and the infrastructure layers — ensuring our Laravel projects are healthy, fast, and secure.

**Location:** Hybrid (Cyprus preferred, or within ±2h time zone)

What You’ll Do

• Manage our infrastructure stack, including:

•• Cloudflare (DNS, WAF, caching, Argo, Polish, etc.)

•• Laravel Forge for server orchestration and deployments

•• DigitalOcean hosting for production and staging environments

•• Laravel Cloud for lightweight or isolated projects

• Monitor and maintain system health

• Review Sentry logs and investigate production errors

• Identify whether issues are infrastructure or code-related

• Resolve when possible, or escalate to the QA/dev team with full context

• Ensure platform security

• Regularly perform vulnerability checks using Aikido and Detectify

• Maintain least-privilege access, review server permissions, and monitor WAF policies

• Automate & optimize

• Streamline deployments, backups, and failover processes

• Help define CI/CD best practices tailored for Laravel

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Administrator with a Laravel-heavy environment

• Strong understanding of Laravel Forge, Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, and Linux servers (Ubuntu preferred)

• Familiar with Sentry, Aikido, Detectify, and basic CI/CD pipelines

• Able to troubleshoot PHP/Laravel application behavior and read logs intelligently

• Excellent documentation and communication skills (you’ll interact with QA and backend teams regularly)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Laravel Nova, Redis, Supervisor, or queue workers

• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar CI tools

• Understanding of multi-environment setups and load balancing
